The Retrosonics is a ten piece group that play's soul, blues and funk.
April 20th 2010 will mark the second birthday of the band since they first emerged onto the Perth music scene.
During these first twenty four months they have performed at Fremantle Jazz, the Perth Jazz Society (PJS) Devilles pad and the York Jazz and Soul festival. On each occasion the band has received outstanding support and comment from both clients and venues. The repertoire is a mix of Blues, Soul, Funk, Rock, Motown and Latin, all with a jazz flavour.
Influences from Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Ray Charles, Donny Hathaway, Lou Rawls, Tower of Power, Kool and the Gang and a host of others.
