Well on Saturday 16/01 we had our rehearsal for the Ellington gig on 23/01.Our new featured singer 'Jeannie Norris' brings a wealth of history and passion to the world of the Retrosonics. Dep drummer Gary Howard proves to be an awesome funky player with great energy and we welcome Alex on trombone depping for Tilman. The rehearsal, as sometimes happens was not the best but I feel happy because I know its going to be good on the 23rd.  The band has good energy, the singer has lots of passion and our program is strong. So lovers of Soul, Funk and Motown should head to the Ellington on 23/01 at 11:30 pm for a good night of music.
